Welcome to the 2nd Annual November Novella Challenge.
The idea is simple: read novellas in November.
There are a few different levels to choose from:
Level I: Read one (just one!) novella by November 30, 2010
Level II: Read four novellas (one each week, mayhaps?) by November 30, 2010
Level III: Read eight novellas (two a week?) by November 30, 2010
Level IV: AKA, the As Many As You Freakin’ Can level: Read as many novellas as you freakin’ can by November 30, 2010
Sounds easy, right? RIGHT?
Then what are you waiting for? Sign up!
Look forward to it. Does anyone have any recommendations for novellas to read? :)
ReplyDeletehere's last year's review page to give you some ideas:

Brilliant! The mountain of novellas is ready. I'm going for as many as I can .....
ReplyDeleteLast year I think I only ended up reading two but I'm going to shoot for four again this year!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thanks for letting me know. Definitely doing it again this year.
ReplyDeleteI don't have time in November to join this challenge however I read a great novella this month, Bow Grip by Ivan E. Coyote.

For anyone interested in joining with no novellas in the house, I'm running a giveaway over at my place ....

Of course, those who have already signed up are welcome to join in too!
Silly question... but what actually is classified as a 'novella'?
ReplyDeleteI looked on google and they said a novel between 45 and 145 pages long. One of my choices is 152 pages, but I think 7 pages make little difference
ReplyDeleteThanks... I'm gonna see if I can find one with less than 145 pages :)
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to find novellas in my library-I prefer longer books but I am now ready to go. I have signed up and look forward to seeing what others read. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm a dope. The first linky doesn't go to my post. Sorry for the extra work to remove it. The second one is now correct. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you are doing this again. I've rounded up a lovely selection of books and I'm ready to go.
ReplyDeleteLMAO I hate it when my browser remembers things I've typed in linkies before and then I don't look close enough before pushing go. :-P Moosetache has nothing to do with this challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreetings! Sorry I'm late but I made it. Not sure how many I'll read but...I'm in!
